Hello and welcome to my new blog. I thought I'd set up this space to give updates about my books and to also give you a view into my life. I'll be sharing everything. Writing, cooking, kids, pets, the lot. I'll be talking about books I've read, movies I've watched, and music I've listened to and love. Sometimes I might talk about my health, both mental and physical. Not because I'm looking for sympathy, but because its a part of my life. Here's a couple of little known facts about me; I have degenerative disc disease, limited feeling from the waist down, I've struggled with depression and anxiety for many years, and I have OCD (that last one is a real bitch sometimes, especially when paired with the first two).
This blog isn't going to be the only new thing happening this year. There's going to be a lot of changes and things happening and I can't wait to share them all with you.
I'm not going to bombard you with everything in this post, but I will give a quick update on Hidden Demons. I promise, I haven't forgotten about it. It's taking a lot longer to write than I intended, but that's because I wasn't happy with the original story. Something just wasn't working in it, so I restarted it almost from scratch. But you have my word, it will be published this year and it'll be worth the wait. All of my concentration is on Hidden Demons at the moment, but once its finished, I'll get Dreaming of a Yuletide Wolf ready for publishing. I do have one more book planned for this year and it will be part of a shared world with eleven other authors, but I'm not going to give away any more details about that just yet. I can't wait to make a start on that story, but first, I need to get Hidden Demons finished.
Right, I think that's about enough for this first post, but I'll be back with another blog post soon.
